New Layouts

Well, I suppose its time I shared some of my layouts, please take it easy on me, as I have only been doing this for a little while, still trying to find my style and comfort zone..

So here goes

This one was of my first decent garden, it took alot of work it was in a right state, weeds were so high, we had to cut them with shears first LOL

Well this one was from our weekend in the lake district, we stayed on Lake Windermere and it was truly stunning, yes it was cold, yes it was foggy, but added to the atmosphere of a perfect few days

Ok this was my first holiday away from my parents, we called in Claire's on tour 94 what a fab 4 weeks!!

Altogether Awwwwww

UKS Prompt: In light of recent events in my life... the sunday blog prompt is a romantic one..."What is the most romantic thing that anyone has ever done for you - has someone ever done anything so romatic that even now when you look back and think about it, you smile? - share your romatic stories with us! and if you havent got one.. what is your idea of romance? what would make you go "Awwwwww"? Well this is one that I cant answer witha specific answer, as Roger is a total romatic and has done loads of stuff that makes me think aw bless he really does care and love me!!

One valentines he paid for a weekend break in the Lake District and was truly to most amazing few days, Ok it was bloody cold but stunning, also he has named a star after me, cheesy I hear you say, Yes 100% but one of the best things ever, I mean for a change I have someone that thinks about things, not just goes out and buys a £10 DP Voucher or a bunch of flowers!! which as you can tell have had in the past.

He knows I love astrology so something like that took some thought, but with it came a telescope it was perfect...........

He leaves me notes dotted around, or writes a card telling me how much he cares and loves me, and its those things in my life that I cherish and think aww im loved!! and no money can express that more....

This was a prompt on UKS recently, I have been really crap lately!! its not excuse, this is not the benefit of others, its for me, its my daily get to know me blog....my work pc has been really raking me off, its been crashing hour in hour out, and if im lucky maybe only once an hour!! fun I hear you cry....fun is now on my side as I have a izzy whizzy lets get busy all signing all dancing never forgets the sugar PC.................. so im BACK!!

Ok so back to the prompt...who would I want to swap with........It has to be the one and only Audrey Hepburn, my god that woman to me was an icon, stunning smart clever I could go on, along with most of the actresses in those days they were all that a woman was meant too be, I mean you could tell a woman was a woman not having to take a second glance cos your not sure!

I Mean I dont want to rattle some people, but nowadays women are just not lady like, not femanine enough, and I hold my hands up higher then any others, im typical, jeans, trousers, trainers, make up only at the weekend, well its my time I dress up and make myself look semi female for Roger, not the IT guy at work or the delivery guy!!

But yes im just as bad as the ones im blaming, I wish I was in a society of femine beauty, I truely want to shoot the women who burnt their bras and shouted equal rights, and I still want to shoot the women that say "oh no I should get paid that amount EQUAL RIGHTS" but then when a box needs moving "oh no im a lady, we cant do that" no whisper of EQUAL BLOODY RIGHTS! and I truly feel that, ladies like, Audrey and Catherine Hepburn (Un related) and Betty Davies were the last of those true lady Icons!!

I love her to bits and all she stood for, and I would love to have 24hrs as her just to feel what it would have been like to be a true Lady...........

Arrgghh Dont Do that..............

Phew nearly there... missing a couple prompts I thin.....

Is it sunday already!? You know what that means folks.. Its time once again for the SUNDAY BLOG PROMPT - I just love how many of you take part in this - and hope this week is no exception.PET HATES..if you had to list the top 5 pet hates.. the things that physically make you go "UGH"what would they be? what peeves you? What can make you leave a room!? Have a think and show us all your top five

Ok so I will keep it simple, Pet Hates are Pet Hates, so this will be brief or a shop box will arrive!!

1. Arrogance!! Cant and dont need to elobrate any more I dont think.....

2. Ignorance!! As above LOL

3. Stupid People LOL Ok not sure how much I can elobrate on this without offending, but you know the type where you look at them and you know FULL well that its very lonely in there head, you know the type that say stupid things like ooo i feels like wednesday when in fact its Saturday!!! please o please tell me firstly how does a wednesday feel like and secondly, how can a work day feel like a day at the weekend, or they park as the drive in...wheels facing out arse hanging out the space ...ooooooo (move on Claire move on)

4. Some women drivers, now im not declaring im the best female driver im far from, BUT and I stress BUT... those women who drive small iddie diddie cars like they are driving a cheiftan tank irrotate me, or those that take a hour to reverse park into a shopping car park, and still leave their cars half in the space next door aarrgghh.......thats why we get ripped by male drivers....

5. People who eat with their mouths open!! ok lets just straighten this one out, my mate is totally unable to breathe through her nose, which in turn she has to eat with her mouth open, this is fine why??? we do not see her food roll around like washing in the machine, nor do we hear the slapping of food and lips, nor does it fall out, where as there is someone else I know who firstly, eats foul smelling food, secondly, the noise!! well you can hear her eat from some distance, thirdly, you wear it should you happen to be facing her when she talks........I dont like oat cakes and I certainly dont like having them spat at me LOL my god I feel my blood pressure rising thinking of it.

Ok enough, let get back to happy happy face clear of oat cake self

Happy Happy thoughts...

Ok so im still catching up....Prompt please..............

So list 5 things which are making you happy right now.

Well, I suppose this year very little has made me happy, its been a tough year, you know when New Year hits, I always say "my god that was a tough year" but 2006 has truly turned all my emotions on, I lost my Dad in May, and I think that was truly the hardest thing I could ever of experienced, being a girl I suppose you are always a daddy's girl, so having this happen could'nt have rocked my world anymore....but I have had some good times, so thinking and looking deep within here are my top 5 things making me happy now...

1. Roger, bless him he is my rock, everything that is me, he highlights them even more, and brings the good out in me, and always knows how to make me smile!

2. Crafting, I love it, and I seem to love it more that im scrapping, I was always happy card making, but know im really into scrapping, im completely happy!! Its for me me me .....

3. My Home, just having my own home makes me happy, when my days get me down I can close the door, and not have to answer to anyone!!

4. My Family, my mum, brother Sister in Law and the boys, I love them to bits, and kids always put a smile there, and family love you regardless, im happy that they are finding there way too, its been a real rollercoaster this year, and we have all stayed on track.

5. Finally, my friends, they make me happy, they have me in fits of laughter day in day out, I couldnt wish for better and more understanding friends.

So for all those points I suppose my life isnt that bad, it just hit a low early in the year, and I have to look ahead.

Seasons in the Sun!

Ok ok so I have lapsed I have not blogged for a few days, so im in catch up mode, but here goes, prompt:

Feeling Autumnal today so todays prompt is list your 5 favourite things about this colourful season and i also want to know, now that you're a scrapbookers do you see Autumn with different eyes?
This is my favorite season, closely followed by Spring, Winter then summer! I dont know why that order, its just something I have always preferred! so here are my fav things for this season:

1. Waking up and seeing the low sun shining on everything golden, the trees look too me just perfect, I feel trees look there best this time of year, I know I know they are dying, but golden and brown are lovely.

2. Knowing its time to start wrapping up, just a little jumper, I love the clothes this time of year, I think cos im not your standard size 10 I tend to like my wobbly bits covered!!

3. Leaf kicking, simple, stupid, but something about the child within me loves it, even to Rogers dismay LOL, but he tries to resist but he knows its pointless!!

4. Knowing that Christmas is just around the corner, nothing better the christmas, god only knows what im going to be like when I have had kids LOL,

5. Snuggling, know that its coming to that time of year to snuggle, you cant in summer, as its honey im sorry but im just too god dam warm to cuddle!! but this time of year its lovely!!

As for looking at things differently, I suppose I do, I have not been scrapping for long, but I have noticed a change in me as too how I look at things, and possible pictures, and I suppose cos I love this time of year im noticing the ever changing colours.

Every season has its day in the sun, and too me the season to be in the Sun is Autumn, not too cold and not too hot, perfect weather to explore...........
